Israel Kenya Agri Challenge
The Pears Program in cooperation with the Embassy of Israel in Kenya hosted a Pitch competition to identify leading Kenyan Agri entrepreneurs working on innovative ventures supporting smallholder value chains. The winners of the challenge won a trip to Israel, co-sponsored by Amiran Kenya, where they took part in the DLD Innovation Festival and had a chance to experience up-close the exciting Israeli start-up ecosystem.
Finalists also had the opportunity to meet with some of the 2015 Pears Challenge fellows during their visit to Kenya in October where they took part in a joint networking session hosted by the Israeli embassy.
Take a look at the pitches submitted here.
