The HookUp Dinner - Connecting Israeli and African Entrepreneurs

The HookUp Dinner is a growing entrepreneurial networking initiative that gives startups a platform from which to connect, engage, and contribute to each other's success. The Pears Program and the South Africa-Israel Forum co-hosted the first HookUp Dinner to be held outside of Africa. The event, held at the ERM law office in Tel Aviv, included pitching, facilitated networking, and a light dinner with a dynamic group of Kenyan and South African entrepreneurs. The audience gained exposure to some of the emerging trends and exciting initiatives coming out of Africa and gained feedback on their pitches from the visiting African delegates.
